Recycle your unwanted documents and papers by safely shredding them!!!


• Documents will be securely shredded by Confidential Shredding

• Please stay in your vehicle and place items for shredding in the trunk in a paper bag or a cardboard box only. NO PLASTIC BAGS

• Limit four (4) file-size boxes per vehicle.

• Free to all Ridgewood residents ONLY

• YES – Financial Records, Insurance Records, Personal & Sensitive Information, Legal Documents, etc...

• No Binder Clips or Binders, No Plastics, No Shipping Envelopes, No Photos, No Carbon Paper, No Non–Paper items

Internet or Smartphone Application: Disaster survivors may apply for the Individuals and Households Program or check their application status at www.DisasterAssistance.gov. Disaster survivors may also access FEMA via smartphone by downloading the application from www.fema.gov or through their mobile provider’s application store.

By Phone: Disaster survivors may call FEMA toll-free at 800-621-3362 to register for assistance or check theirapplication status. Sept 3rd, 2021 - GRAYDON POOL UPDATE

The Graydon Pool facility is closed for the season, due to storm related conditions.

Unfortunately, Graydon Pool water quality was compromised as a result of Hurricane Ida. Floodwaters breaching the Ho-Ho-Kus Brook, coupled with stormwater runoff from adjacent roadways, resulted in unsafe water quality conditions.

A water sample collected from Graydon Pool within the past 24 hours, indicates bacteria levels which are much higher than usual, the bacterial count is elevated, and the clarity of the water is unsafe, under the recreational bathing water quality standard put forward by the New Jersey Department of Health’s Public Recreational Bathing Code. Under the direction of the Ridgewood Health Department, which licenses the Graydon Pool recreational swimming facility, the Graydon Pool facility will be closed for swimming and bathing activities for the season.

We understand this is disappointing for our Graydon patrons and apologize for any inconvenience.
