MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT – RIDGEWOOD WATER – RIDGEWOOD VILLAGE, Bergen County, NJ, is seeking a full-time Management Assistant for the water utility. The responsibilities of the position include: 1) assists management by providing a wide variety of administrative services for the utility; 2) gathers, organizes and summarizes data or information for report preparation; 3) communicates with utility customers across various mediums, including but not limited to the use of telephone, email, website updates, and other messaging platforms; 4) investigates problems and/or complaints and recommends solutions to management team; 5) reads, researches and routs correspondence, drafts letters, memos and other documents for the utility; 6) utilizes various software tools and databases for the maintenance of utility records and consumer correspondence; and 7) helps relieve the manager of administrative detail related to the utility. The candidate is required to have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. The candidate must have the ability to learn and utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the utility. Experience in the water utility industry a plus. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
