Green Team Advisory Committee

MISSION:
Promoting a clean environment through sustainable practices with the goal of reducing carbon emissions, maintaining a fresh and plentiful water supply, increasing recycling to reduce waste, conserving energy and educating the community on the benefits of living in a healthier environment is the mission of Ridgewood's Green Team. The Green Team works directly with the nonprofit organization Sustainable Jersey, which provides education, training, recognition and grant funding to enhance Ridgewood's already long established and successful push toward sustainability. Through these various environmentally-minded initiatives residents will enjoy greener aesthetics, cleaner air and water, improved waste management and ultimately a cost savings associated with these actions.
