RESIDENT GRAYDON POOL MEMBERSHIPS
Village priced memberships are available to Ridgewood residents, non-residents who pay local property taxes to the Village of Ridgewood, and employees of the Village of Ridgewood and Board of Education. *Proof is required.

The Village Council and the Ridgewood Department of Parks and Recreation are pleased to invite all families in the surrounding area to join the Graydon Pool facility for the summer season.

Purchase all badges from the comfort of home via CommunityPass (Visa and Mastercard accepted). In person assistance is available daily at the Graydon Badge Office, on site at the pool facility. Hours vary by season dates.
WE ARE CURRENTLY TESTING A COURT RESERVATION SYSTEM ON COMMUNITY PASS. COURTS MAY BE RESERVED BY RESIDENT BADGE HOLDERS ONLY. RESERVATIONS ARE FOR ONE HOUR EACH DAY. IF A COURT IS OPEN, ANY BADGE HOLDER MAY USE IT, BUT MUST LEAVE WHEN A BADGE HOLDER WITH A RESERVATION PERMIT ARRIVES. COURTS ARE NOT TO BE USED FOR LESSONS UNLESS SPONSORED BY THE RIDGEWOOD PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT.
Pool features include an accessibility ramp for entry into the water for those with special needs, a shaded playground and sitting area, water play fountains, shade kites, Adirondack chairs, a picnic area with charcoal grills, a sheltered pavilion, and the Water's Edge Cafe. Additional amenities include volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, four-squares, hop-scotch, backgammon and a lending library.
These amenities may be missing or limited due to COVID-19 and may become availble at a later date as the Governors eases restrictions. Please inquire at the badge office.
Programs will include instructional swim for children and adults, our competitive Graydon Swim Team for ages 8 to 17, kayaking, SUP board yoga and instruction, beach yoga and more. Watch for upcoming movie nights and weekend concerts.
All 2020 programs are currently cancelled due to COVID-19.
The Parks and Recreation Department welcomes the opportunity to hire and train young adults and adults for seasonal employment during the spring and summer months in various positions. Applicants should be at least 16 years of age. Returning staff are given first consideration and new applicants will be called as positions are available (beginning mid-March). All will be considered for experience and certifications.
Positions for Graydon Pool include Lifeguards, Security Attendants, and Badge Sale Attendants. Concession Attendant applications will be shared with the awarded Water's Edge Cafe vendor.
For consideration, please mail a completed seasonal application and background investigation waiver (both linked below) to The Stable, 259 N. Maple Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450. Accompanying resumes are suggested.

Register online via CommunityPass (under Graydon Pool) or in person/by mail to the Stable, 259 N. Maple Avenue, Ridgewood NJ 07450.
Those who wish to take the lifeguarding class earlier can attend the Ridgewood YMCA sessions. These classes will certify you as a lifeguard, but you will not be qualified to guard at a sand-bottom pool such as Graydon until you complete the bridging certification class.
