STORYTIME AT GRAYDON
Every Thursday, 2 pm, at the pavilion.

Children will enjoy stories and special activities (geared for ages 4 through 8). Bring a towel to sit on.
CO-ED TEEN VOLLEYBALL, Grades 6 to 8
Friday evenings, 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Volleyball Courts at Graydon Pool, beginning September 10th.

Participants will receive instruction, learn rules and strategies, and develop skills. $50 participant fee/5 sessions.

Co-ed Volleyball Registration/Details
REGISTRATION AND MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Purchase pool and tennis badges from the convenience of your home on Community Pass (payment by credit card only Visa & MasterCard).

Online Renewals - Once renewed online your 2009 badge can be scanned and validated for the 2010 season on your first visit to the pool.

Online New Memberships - Bring proof of residency and a copy of your Community Pass receipt to receive your photo identification badge.

In-Person Registration - Attendants will provide assistance daily until 7 pm at the Graydon Pool Badge Office, 259 North Maple Avenue, beginning opening day, June 5th. Those who wish to register in person must provide proof of residency and may pay by cash, check (payable to Village of Ridgewood), or credit card (Visa/Mastercard).

2010 Graydon/Tennis Badge Rates

Graydon memberships are available to registered Ridgewood residents, non-residents who pay local property taxes to the Village of Ridgewood, employees of the Village of Ridgewood and the Board of Education. The Village of Ridgewood will welcome residents of Midland Park and HoHoKus to join Graydon Pool as non-residents at the non-resident rates and are welcome to bring guests and pay daily guest rates. Resident sponsored non-resident membership applications must be submitted by an adult resident who maintains a current season badge. Sponsorship Application
AMERICAN RED CROSS
LEARN TO SWIM is designed to teach aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression for children four and above. Skills are taught within a positive and encouraging learning environment by American Red Cross trained instructors.

The program is comprised of
  • Level I - Intro to Water Skills
  • Level II - Fundamental Skills
  • Level III - Stroke Development
  • Level IV - Stroke Improvement
  • Level V - Stroke Refinement
  • Level VI - Skills Proficiency
minimum age for enrollment: 4 yrs. old

Two sessions will be offered
  • Session I - June 28 to July 15
  • Session II - July 19 to August 5

AMERICAN RED CROSS WATERFRONT LIFEGUARD TRAINING AT GRAYDON POOL

This 40 hour certification class is offered through the Department of Parks and Recreation beginning Monday, July 5th (a fitness test administered on the first day is a pre-requisite for course approval). Space is very limited. Register in person or by mail to The Stable, 259 N. Maple Avenue. Checks should be made payable to Ridgewood Parks and Recreation.

Citizens For Swimming
Citizens For Swimming, a Ridgewood based organization, sponsors young children from the inner city, C.A.M.P., Youth Development Program Corp. the opportunity to swim at the Graydon Pool during three weeks in the month of August.
