11.  ORDINANCES - INTRODUCTION

 

3263 – Amend Chapter 145 – Fees – Municipal Court Fees    Establishes a fee for preparation of a certified      court disposition:  without a seal-$5, with a           seal-$10.  Also deletes the fee for                    certification of public documents by the             Municipal Court.

THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTIONS, NUMBERED 10-206 THROUGH

10-220, ARE TO BE ADOPTED BY A CONSENT AGENDA, WITH ONE VOTE BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL.  THERE IS A BRIEF DESCRIPTION BESIDE EACH RESOLUTION TO BE CONSIDERED ON THE CONSENT AGENDA.  EACH RESOLUTION WILL BE READ BY TITLE ONLY:

 

10-206    Award Contract – Phase II Restoration of             Ridgewood      Train Station (NTE $356,150) –             Awards the value of the remaining work for           this contract to the lowest responsive                   bidder, Northeast Roof Maintenance, Inc., 649        Catherine Street, Perth Amboy, NJ.  The total        amount of the contract is not to exceed                  $476,150.

10-207    Award Contract – Train Station Coffee                Concession – Awards the first year of a two-            year contract to the highest bidder, Rajiv           Sajnani, 63 West End Avenue, Westwood, NJ at              the rate of $801/month. This contract will           begin approximately October 1, 2010.

10-208    Title 59 Approval – Line Stop and Valve                   Insertion Services – Approves the plans and               specifications for Line Stop and Valve                    Insertion Services, prepared by Ridgewood            Water, pursuant to NJSA 59:4-6

10-209    Award Contract – Line Stop and Valve                 Insertion Services (NTE $40,000) – Awards a               contract to the sole bidder, Carner Brothers,          P.O. Box 116, Roseland, NJ

10-210    Approve Shared Services Agreement – Municipal        Court Teleconferencing (Franklin Lakes) -             Approves an Interlocal Services Agreement for       the Borough of Franklin Lakes to use the             Village of Ridgewood’s Municipal Court                    Teleconferencing Equipment for arraignments

10-211    Authorize Agreement with Bergen County –             Automated Emergency Telephone Alerting                    Service – Authorizes an Agreement with               Bergen County whereby the County will pay           100% of the cost of initial installation,            testing, training, call fees for emergency               calls using the Emergency Services Listing,            and non-emergency calls using a list provided           by the Village of Ridgewood

 

10-212    Authorize Acceptance of Gift – Village Hall               Main Entrance and Front Pillars – Accepts the        gift from the Bolger Foundation of painting            the Village Hall main entrance as well as the       front pillars at Village Hall

10-213    Authorize Acceptance of Gift – Village Hall               Main Entrance – Stair Renovation – Accepts           the gift from the Bolger Foundation of                renovating the stairs at the main entrance of           Village Hall

10-214    Authorize Acceptance of Gift – Ridgewood             Public Library – Renovation of Front Columns           Accepts the gift from the Bolger Foundation        of renovating the front pillars at the                   Ridgewood     Public Library

10-215    Authorize Temporary Assistance in the Health              Department – Authorizes the temporary                assistance of Gail Battaglia in the Health               Department as an Alternate Deputy Registrar             for 8 hours per week for three weeks,                beginning on July 27, 2010. She will be paid              $25/week, not to exceed $100.

10-216    Appoint Green Team Advisory Committee Members        Appoints the following members for a term           ending 6/30/11:  Councilman Thomas Riche,           Chair; Frank Moritz, Christopher Rutishauser,        Nancy Bigos, Edward Schwartz, Michelle                    Lenhard, Joan Groome, Janet Fricke, Nancy Orr

10-217    Authorize Property Maintenance Services – 914        Norgate DriveAuthorizes the Property                 Maintenance Official to have the required            property maintenance at this abandoned                   property performed by Ascape Landscape and           Construction Corporation.  This is necessary              to preserve the public health, safety and/or           general welfare of the immediate neighborhood       as well as the entire Village of Ridgewood.                The Village funds used to perform this                    property maintenance shall become a lien             against this property.

10-218    Authorize Property Maintenance Services – 341        Hopper Avenue - Authorizes the Property                Maintenance Official to have the required            property maintenance at this vacant property               performed by Ascape Landscape and                         Construction Corporation.  This is necessary              to preserve the public health, safety and/or           general welfare of the immediate neighborhood       as well as the entire Village of Ridgewood.                The Village funds used to perform this                    property maintenance shall become a lien             against this property.

 

 

10-219    Authorize Property Maintenance Services – 165        McKinley Place - Authorizes the Property            Maintenance Official to have the required            property maintenance at this vacant property              performed by Ascape Landscape and                         Construction Corporation.  This is necessary              to preserve the public health, safety and/or           general welfare of the immediate neighborhood       as well as the entire Village of Ridgewood.                The Village funds used to perform this                    property maintenance shall become a lien             against this property.

10-220    Authorize Property Maintenance Services – 616        Morningside Road - Authorizes the Property             Maintenance Official to have the required            property maintenance at this vacant property,        which is open and exposed to the adverse             effects of the environment, performed by             Ascape Landscape and Construction                         Corporation.  This is necessary to preserve               the public health, safety and/or general             welfare of the immediate neighborhood as well         as the entire Village of Ridgewood.  The              Village funds used to perform this property               maintenance shall become a lien against this              property.
